This Privacy Policy explains how Renes Fashion Limited (“Renes”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses your personal data when you use renesfashion.co.uk, shop with us online, or contact us. It also sets out your rights under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1) What data we collect

  • Identity & contact: name, email, phone, billing/delivery address.
  • Order details: items purchased, order value, delivery preference, returns.
  • Payment & fraud-prevention data: last four digits of card, transaction IDs and authorisations (handled by our payment providers, we do not store full card numbers).
  • Account data (if you create one): login, saved addresses, order history.
  • Marketing preferences: your newsletter opt-ins/opt-outs.
  • Communications: messages you send via forms, email, phone or social.
  • Device & usage: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, cookie choices (see Cookies).

 

2) How we use your data (purposes & lawful bases)

3) Marketing

We use cookies and similar tech to run the site (e.g., basket, checkout) and—if you agree—to measure performance and improve our services.

5) Who we share data with (processors & recipients)

We never sell your data. We share only what’s needed, with:

  • Payment processors (shown at checkout) to take payments and prevent fraud.
  • Delivery/courier partners to deliver your order and handle returns.
  • Email service & CRM (for order updates and, if opted in, newsletters).
  • Website/platform & hosting providers to operate our site.
  • Analytics & consent tools (for aggregated site insights where you’ve consented).
  • Professional services (accountants, auditors, legal) for compliance.

Each provider acts under contract as a processor or independent controller (e.g., a courier) as appropriate. We require processors to keep your data secure and to act only on our instructions.

We may disclose information if required by law (e.g., to HMRC or law enforcement).

 

6) International transfers

Some providers may be outside the UK/EEA. Where we make a restricted transfer, we use lawful safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations, the International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) or the UK Addendum to the EU SCCs, plus a transfer risk assessment where required.

 

7) How long we keep your data (retention)

We keep data only as long as needed for the purpose collected, including to meet legal, accounting or reporting requirements.

8) Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your data and get a copy.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete your data (where applicable).
  • Restrict or object to certain processing (including direct marketing).
  • Data portability for data you provided to us, where we process it by consent or contract and by automated means.
  • Withdraw consent at any time (this won’t affect past processing).
  • Complain to the UK ICO: ico.org.uk or your local regulator if outside the UK.

9) Security

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, access controls and staff awareness. Payments are handled by PCI-compliant providers; we don’t store full card numbers.

 

10) Children

Our site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

 

11) Third-party links

Our site may link to other websites. Those sites have their own privacy policies; please review them as we cannot control their practices.

 

12) Changes to this policy

We may update this notice from time to time. We’ll post the new version here and change the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we’ll take additional steps to inform you.
