The Renes Style & Fit Guide
Helping you understand what a great fit really looks like
At Renes, helping women feel confident in what they wear has been at the heart of our boutique since 1955.
Choosing the right style isn’t only about size. It’s also about how a garment fits your shape, the fabrics used, and the way the piece has been designed.
This guide shares the same advice our stylists give in the shop every day.
Understanding Body Shapes
Most women fall broadly into one of seven body shape categories. Understanding your shape can help you choose styles that highlight your best features.

Hips slightly wider than shoulders.
Flattering choices:
• A-line dresses
• statement tops
• structured jackets
• darker trousers or skirts

Styles that work beautifully:
• statement tops or patterned blouses
• structured or padded shoulders
• A-line dresses and skirts
