RENES Celebrates Its 70th Year with Heartfelt Fundraising for St John’s Hospice

As part of our special 70th anniversary celebrations, we are incredibly proud to share the news of a heartfelt milestone made possible entirely by the kindness of our wonderful customers and community. Together, we raised £2,500 for St John’s Hospice — our local independent hospice providing essential care for families across North Lancashire and South Lakes.

A Celebration with Purpose at Leighton Hall

In September, we hosted our RENES 70th Celebration at the beautiful Leighton Hall. Surrounded by friends, customers and supporters, we not only celebrated seven decades of style, service and community — we also came together for a cause very close to our hearts.

The evening’s fundraising, combined with the continued support from our squares competitions that ran afterwards, helped us reach the incredible total of £2,500.

Supporting Local Care in Our Community

Every penny raised has now been officially presented to St John’s Hospice, a charity that provides compassionate, specialist care for people living with life-shortening conditions — both on the wards and in the comfort of their own homes.

As a local independent hospice, St John’s relies heavily on donations to continue delivering this vital support to families in our area. Knowing that this money will go directly into frontline hospice care makes this achievement even more meaningful.
